台南專賣米糕的店不在少數,也各有其愛好者。下大道蘭米糕的店址在康樂街上,也鄰近海安路、保安路等美食小吃聚集處,但人潮相對較少。創店迄今也已數十年,目前傳承至第二代,店內牆壁上掛了不少接受過採訪的相關新聞,美食節目也來採訪過,也有不少名人曾經來訪過。目前的營業時間是早上九點到晚上七點左右,附近路邊停車格較少,建議可停到海安路的地下停車場,再步行前往。 下大道蘭米糕是傳統的台南米糕作法,蒸熟的糯米飯,淋上店家特製的肉燥,再加上魚鬆,還有醃製的小黃瓜,以及一顆小魯丸,就是個迷你便當的感覺。很多饕客都會加點魯蛋,因為這裡是用鴨蛋,與雞蛋的風味有別。而吃米糕時配碗四神湯,也是很多台南人的經典組合,所以賣米糕的店,多半都有賣四神湯,這裡當然也不例外。喜愛傳統台南米糕的人,這家店肯定要收為口袋名單的。
